Mezza Luna Trattoria in Smyrna

Finally got a chance to go to this place. It is kinda hidden like a hole in the wall. I was impressed with the food. I didn’t feel the heaviness that you get after eating pasta. Pasta was fresh and the calamari was also cooked very nicely. It’s a great place to bring your family. Highly recommend if you haven’t tried it.

Best Italian food in the city! I am honesty not a fan of Italian food and I would come back weekly. Staff was so nice and professional (even during the pandemic crisis) and the chicken picatta and homemade bread is off the charts. Highly recommend!!

Delicious taste of Italy in a little hole in the wall restaurant in Smyrna. Don't let the outside fool you into turning you away from the palate pleasing cuisine that's just beyond the unassuming exterior!

A corner spot with delicious food. A bit high priced but the quality is really there, so I'd say worth it. It smells great inside and you can watch them cook from the bar. I love the wine menu and their sea bass when they have it is always flawless. Service is usually good but we've been forgotten about during weekend dinner rush. I'd still recommend it for a special occasion.

I refuse to order Italian food from anywhere else. Hands down the best in metro Atlanta. My favorite dish is the Pasta Al Forno. They also do an incredible oil & herbed infused bread to go with your meal.

Lovely Italian restaurant! They food is fantastic and the customer service is amazing!! I try to go this place at least once a week for lunch! They have the best lunch specials and I love the atmosphere!

The absolute best Italian food I’ve ever had!! I’m not easily impressed with pasta dishes, but theirs blew me away!! I also looove the customer service and the smiley face in the olive oil is a lovely touch that epitomizes the amazing atmosphere :D

I didn't eat here but the food looked amazing, so I like to some day. The wine was great. Our waiter wasn't the most pleasant but perhaps he was overwhelmed. I know we were scared to ask him anything. It was hot in the area we were so we took it upon ourselves to turn on the AC unit since we were sat next to it. Other than that it was great.

Not the most impressive exterior or entrance, and you'd never know it was there unless you see the sign. However, it was the most fantastic and delicious meal I have ever had. The service was exceptional. I'm definitely going back. This is what all Italian restaurants should model after. Unbelievably excellent.

If you have not been to Italy, this is your chance to get a taste of it. Outstanding everything, from the service to the food - WOW! There are a couple of other Italians in Atlanta that are great and authentic, but this one is superior! The food was great and not overpriced. The wine selection included a lot of inexpensive ones without sacrificing quality. The service was unobtrusive but very attentive. This is my first experience there, but it seemed like a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. I will definitely go back. It's a gem in the city of restaurants perperting to serve Italian food.

This place was incredible! Wanted to come here since we saw them on Mezza Luna Pasta and Seafood, and they did not disappoint! The owner comes around often and introduces himself, he even took our order as he stood there talking. The atmosphere is awesome, all the folks are energetic and friendly.

The staff was amazing and very very safe and sanitized. The food, as always, was out of this world. The ambience, even with this crazy virus, was charming and warming. We loved the experience. Grazie!!!!

Mom and Pop Italiano food and ambiance. tried the lasagna,it was fine. Can't wait to try the veal parmagian. BRING A CROWD! I'm not being paid to rate this place, either. They'll think you're the greatest......

Got the Chicken Marsala and my friend got a vegetarian pesto dish! Soooo good and afforadable. They bring bread to your table with olive oil. I’ll definitely be back!!

Really enjoyed this authentic Italian Restaurant. It's small with a very relaxing environment. The calamari appetizer was delicious. The portions are large enough for 2. My son loved the spaghetti.

Lasagna is incredibly delicious also pasta al forno Every thing was great except the long waiting we waited for 30 minutes to be seated 🤦🏻‍♀️.

If u want real authentic italian food then come here. Its a rarity in georgia to find the real deal. Or for delivery service i recommend chownow for home delivery. The owners are italian and from new york.Not the cheapest meal ever but worth the price and the quality is there.

I walked into this establishment for the first time and waited several minutes before I was even greeted. I told the server I'm here to pick up 2 separate orders and she mixed them both up. Now obviously, if I tell you I have 2 SEPARATE orders, I already know to keep them both separated and I don't need the staff to waste time explaining that.Please learn standard restaurant service and basic organizational skills before proceeding to tell your delivery drivers how to do their job.

I had "Tagliatelle Black Squid Ink Cartoccio", and it was the best pasta that I've ever eaten. Service was exceptional. Truly amazing experience that left me wanting more. I can't want to come back and try more of the delicious food.

Wow oh wow, this was the best Italian food I have ever had, includes my trip to Rome. Service was very professional, place was very clean. I can not say enough good things about the entire experience. Highly recommend.

It was a very nice place with great service.I had Chicken Parmigiana. It was good but I have had better. I think it was a personal taste. My son and Daughter in Law thinks the food is fantastic. There was live music also which was very good.

This is a little hidden gem, great food and staff. It’s a small place don’t expect it to be supper fancy. I have only had lunch but every time the food was on point. I took one star off for a little smell that the restaurant has. Not sure if it’s al the food being cooked or what but maybe a little better ventilation would be good. But all in all great place

Our waiter Andreas was excellent. We went with his recommendations of the Sea bass & Lobster ravioli with shrimp. Both were wonderfully made, full of flavor. Would definitely order again. Very happy with the service & the meal.

Food and service were great. The wait wasn't very long. The waiter was attentive. The appetizer and salads were good. Unfortunately the butter was burned on they're Piccata, so either they didn't taste the food before it went out, they don't care, were there chef has a really terrible pallet LOL

My boyfriend and I love Mezza Luna! They tick all the boxes both pre- and post- quarantine! If you're dining in you can expect great service, nice atmosphere, and a big bonus for me is that they are a locally owned business! All the other fine-dining Italian restaurants in Smyrna are chains. We also order takeout from them which has been a great experience as well. The food is delicious as always and we can't wait to come back once dining in restaurants is a bit safer!

This place might not look like much from the outside but trust me. It is amazing. Best squid ink pasta I have ever had. The prices are crazy reasonable. The staff is great. I have never had a bad experience here!

Amazing food. Don't go without making a reservation! We were seated right away since we had a reservation but others had to wait a good bit. I got the squid ink pasta which was cooked perfectly. My gf got the veal. The top veal was almost overcooked but still tasted good. Her veal which was on bottom was cooked perfectly. We had a bad experience at their other location but this one was perfect. Could use better parking tho. Had to park on the grass.

I pass by frequently, & this place is always packed. I know why now! Amazing! The atmosphere is fabulous as well. You should definitely make a reservation. This is absolutely the best Italian restaurant I’ve found in the Atlanta area

Terrific food and fast service. We felt very safe here with temperature monitoring and an abundance of cleaning and safety measures like touchless menus. The food is over the top delicious with fresh homemade bread, sauces, and pasta. Leave room for dessert and the best tiramisu I've ever had.

Mother’s Day dinner, was not crowded but the parking is really tight. A few spaces across the small street are helpful. The Piccata and Saltimbocca were both delicious, but the servings seemed small for the $20ish price. The focaccia with oil & vinegar was delicious as well. Servers very friendly. Nice special occasion place.

Great little real homemade Italian. Super accomadating. We showed up at 9pm with a party of 6. Sat down immediately and the focaccia with olive oil was AMAZING!

Great atmosphere! I had thought often of going here for dinner. I heard WSB radio personality Mark Arum mention it on air and said how good it was. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our entrees and salmon croquettes as an appetizer. The service was excellent and the place is very welcoming. My new favorite Italian restaurant!!

The service was a little slow, but to be fair the place was packed! We had a delicious dinner and enjoyed a very nice evening. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for another great meal. Word of warning, reservations are a must.

Quiet and romantic. Went on a Saturday night to celebrate some promotions and what not and we had the best experience. The squid ink tagliatelle was absolutely incredible, I was craving it since out first visit. Our server was attentive and nice. The accordian player played the godfather theme, which propelled me into my best life. Great experience thanks guys!

Absolutely fantastic!!! Lasagna was authentic roman lasagna, and the portion was enough for two meals. Chicken Parm was also perfectly prepared. Had the Chocolate mouse cake for dessert, which was delicious! Staff was friendly and the owner made sure everyone was happy. Will definitely be back for more amazing meals.♥️🔥👍

My wife and I were looking for Italian after our Saturday class and found this little bop. As alot of the other reviews said it didnt look like much from the outside. I've almost always found that these are some of the best gems. This place was amazing. The food was outstanding and the setting was intimate. This will be my new go to.

Great meal. The chef offered to "make something nice" so we never looked at the menu. Next came pasta, veal and chicken dishes served family style for our table of six. Later on the chef sat at our table telling us fun stories about Rome, Italy where he grew up. A great meal and great time talking with the chef.

Great food and wonderful customer service! I have been to this location twice and every time I have gone the food was excellent. The service is very personalize and everyone who works there goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. The food taste like true Italian dishes. The Lobster Ravoli, Chicken Marsala and Sea Bass are great. I will be going back.
